How to cure boredom

Wee can all get bored from time to time sometimes wee are waiting on that magical fairy appearing to make our life’s much better or even send us to the ball. When wee are bored the mind plays havoc it eats and eats away at the smallest little things like why did my uncle say that to me like 2 year ago or why did that lady come into the shop stare at me then left again last week 2 weeks ago it could even be 5 years and it would still pop back into my mind. It shouldn’t even matter anymore it’s gone it’s done with I no that you no that so why is it still there? It drives me mad and I bet it can drive others mad too. I feel like a burden

You no you need to talk to someone on how your honestly feeling but you don’t want to be a burden you have seen councillors with great effect for like a week then you have to go back and do it all again.

Feels like your just hassling them eventually so you stop going ! You are going round in circles and not getting anywhere even the councillor has a-headache well that’s what you think anyway, especially when you have thoughts and feelings of not being liked just being a burden it feels like people walk the other way when they see you.

And that in itself my dear is enough for you wanting to do something bad to yourself like end it now. The thing is wee do not seek answers our minds run like wild fire and already everybody hates you in your mind.

Your then scared to talk because people that are oblivious to how you are feeling think your after some attention and you want to make it all about you then the burden comes and sits on your shoulder gently and softly and whispers don’t be a burden just live with it you will be ok when really you are far from ok.

The best thing to do is be honest and talk to some one you are not a burden there are very nice people out there that would love to see you happy enjoying the things you loved before there is hope there definitely is and don’t you ever lose it my dear do not fear you are no burden.

I have put some numbers below just Incase you ever want to talk these people deal with this kind of thing everyday and you are there mission there mission into making you better back to the days when you where. You are not alone wee all need someone to talk to.

5 ways to overcome shyness and social Anxiety

1. Act confidently.

Confidence comes through action, learning, practice, and mastery. Remember when you learned how to ride a bike? It was terrifying at first, but after you just went for it and tried it, you got it, and felt confident. Social confidence works the same way.

Feeling anxious is not the problem; avoiding social interactions is the problem. Eliminate avoidance and you will overcome your anxiety.

2. Engage.

This means participating in small talk in the checkout line and talking to strangers at bars, stores, sporting events, and the gym. Additionally, approach the individuals to whom you are attracted romantically. Talk to them. Ask them to dance. Ask them out on dates.

Life is short. Who cares if you get rejected? There are seven billion people on this planet. You’re not expected to like or be liked by all of them. Take some chances and put yourself out there to meet new people.

3. Try new things, even if they make you anxious.

Join a club, a sports team, or an improv class. Pick up a new project, take on a difficult task at work, or learn a new skill. Do something to get out of your comfort zone.

Part of overcoming shyness is about developing confidence in several areas of your life and not letting anxiety, fear of failure, fear of rejection, or fear of humiliation get in your way. By practicing new activities, you are confronting your fear of the unknown and learning to handle that anxiety more effectively.

4. Talk.

Start practicing giving speeches or presentations and telling jokes or stories at every opportunity. Be more talkative and expressive in all areas of your life. Whether you’re at work, with friends, with strangers, or walking down the street, you can practice talking more openly. Let your voice and your ideas be heard.

Confident people are not preoccupied with whether everyone is going to like what they have to say. They speak their mind because they want to share, engage, and connect with others. You can do this too. Anxiety and shyness are not reasons to stay quiet.

5. Make yourself vulnerable.

A fear of being judged contributes to social anxiety and shyness. The only way to overcome this fear is to make yourself vulnerable. Practice doing this with the people you are close to and can trust. You might realize the more you do it, the closer you feel to others and the more pleasure and meaning you get out of those relationships. This will lead to increased confidence in yourself and in social interactions.

Being vulnerable requires a willingness to let others see the real you. Be proud of who you are. Being genuine and vulnerable is often the quality that others will appreciate the most about you.

How to make someone like you

Great tips on how to make someone like you:

Relationships cannot be forced into being, but there are some situations where it is important to know how to make someone like you. If there is someone special that you want to be friends with, or someone you find interesting who you’d like to know better, or someone you have a crush on but not very close to – a little manipulation so that the person gets to know you, and like you, may be a good idea at hand.

1. Be available

It is important that you keep yourself close to the person as much as you can, but at the same time, not give them the feeling that you are always available. In order for someone to like you, they would have to get to know you first, and that requires physical proximity.

Be where you know that person is probably going to be; you need to be around them so that they are aware of your existence. Try to interact with other people instead of always starring at them wistfully; be friendly and approachable but not too available for them so that they cannot take you for granted. Wait until they are aware of you and know you, and then make yourself less available.

2. Show your interest in them as a person

Since it is you who are initially interested in knowing each other, you have to show it. Approach the person and engage in a conversation, be as friendly and attentive as you can. Show that you are interested in knowing them further; if applicable, give them the reason you are interested, i.e. something that they had said previously that you liked, or some common interest that you both share. This will give them a chance to know you a little, and let them show their interest in knowing you too.

3. Everyone loves to be appreciated by other people, and to make someone feel cherished is to help them develop feelings for you. Being a good listener and asking the right questions at the right time can help a person feel acknowledged and heard.

However, a person truly feels treasured when another person understands them. Find out what they are most passionate about in their lives and compliment on that – i.e. on their career, their hobby, their skill, their business. Validating someone on a topic they feel strongly about will definitely make them warm up to you.

Dont, be your own worst enemy

There are people who pretend to be okay all day long and seem to carry on. When the night comes they take off their bravado and let their emotions stream from within. A vicious cycle from dusk till dawn.

Falling asleep after thinking about so many unanswered questions and doubts… They end up tired of being someone they are not. Feeling worn out!

What has this life become? you planned so many things differently, opportunities have been and gone. You waited for a certain time with somebody that never stood by. who proved to be temporary, They misunderstood your serenity!

Please stop being your own worst enemy.

With to respect retrospect 🙂

How can i be my best self

Becoming your best self-requires working on your strength. You can’t be a jack of all trades and you have to admit it. It will be the biggest leap towards becoming at least a better version of you.

Find out what gives you a kick. If you have a knack for acting, join group theater. If you love reciting poetry, join a literary club. Love playing chess? Just join a chess club. Be around people who share your enthusiasm, be humble, appreciate their curiosity, learn constantly from them and excel in that field.

Studies show that studying or practicing something for one hour daily can make you an international expert of that thing within seven years.

Some other activities that will help you develop as a person:

  • RUN 10 minutes daily. You will feel the difference instantly both in health and spirit.
  • READ a book. 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes before sleeping. Try to read a Medium post on a topic you are interested in.
  • WRITE an answer on Quora daily. How about keeping a blog?
  • DRINK a green smoothie. Invest in a nice blender may be? It will help to be in a better shape than you ever were.
  • TALK to an old friend daily. Old friends are like wine, get better with time.
  • WATCH a Ted Talk video daily. Obviously, on a topic, you are interested in. Listening to something educational can improve your intuition.

5 best foods to eat when trying to lose weight.

Yogurt

Yogurt is full of probiotics, a particular type of bacteria that may help limit the amount of fat that your body absorbs. Make sure to choose a yogurt that says “live active cultures” on the container. Probiotics are good bacteria that helps get rid of the bad stuff in your intestinal tract. The amino acids in yogurt help burn fat while the calcium tells your fat cells to get rid of cortisol, which is a hormone that may cause belly fat to increase.

Apples

Apples are truly a super food. They provide the body with fiber that will help you feel fuller longer and will therefore fight cravings and help with weight loss. Make sure to eat the apple and not applesauce or juices. Chewing crunchy foods is always better for losing weight. Chewing will send a signal to your brain that you’re actually eating something solid. This helps your body to feel full faster.

Berries

YAS. Berries are incredible to help you achieve your weight loss goals. They are filled to the brim with antioxidants and fiber, additionally they’re super low in calories. Just add a handful into a healthy smoothy or even sprinkle some over your breakfast cereal. Delicious and healthy, the ultimate combo.

Chili

If you love spicy foods then you’ll love this fact. Just by adding chili to your diet, you’ll boost your metabolism meaning you’ll burn fat faster. Win-win right there, folks. A single chili pepper contains a full day’s supply of beta carotene (also great for maintaining healthy skin, hair, and nails) and twice the recommended daily allowance of vitamin C

Eggs

Eating foods high in protein is a great way to burn fat, and especially those types of proteins found in eggs. Protein in egg yolks can stimulate the release of a hormone called glucagon. This hormone can help burn fat, in particular belly fat. Some studies have even found that people who eat eggs don’t have any higher cholesterol than those who ate bagels regularly.

Always choose your food wisely you are what you eat ✨

10 ways to relive stress naturally.

1. passion-flower

While passion-flower has long been considered a “folk remedy” for anxiety and insomnia a few studies have shown that the herb may actually be comparable in effectiveness to benzodiazepine drugs, which are used to treat stress. Though not proven, it is believed that passionflower works by increasing levels of a chemical called gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain. This lowers the activity of some brain cells, making you feel more relaxed.

passion-flower is available in a variety of forms, including infusions, teas, liquid extracts, and tinctures. It is not recommended for children or for women who are pregnant or nursing. Consult your doctor before adding it to your diet, especially if you are taking other medications.

2. Massage

This is kind of a no-brainer, right? Everybody loves a massage. But did you know that it’s been used as a stress reliever for thousands of years? Historically, the Chinese used massage to open blocked energy channels in order to improve health and Hippocrates, the “father of western medicine,” used friction for physical healing treatments. Today, we use massage to relax tense muscles, reduce pain and improve circulation, which can all do wonders for the mind.

3. Meditation

Meditation, or mindfulness, only takes 15 to 30 minutes a day, which is possible even in a packed schedule. It’s also incredibly affordable, considering the only tool you need is your own mind. Just give yourself some silent time to let your thoughts run free or just focus on your breathing. That small amount of peace in your day can help you deal with or even release stress.

4. Exercise

Whether it’s yoga, Tai Chi or running, exercise works much in the same way as meditation because it gives you the time to be alone with your thoughts (or an opportunity to let them go). However, exercise also has the added benefit of releasing endorphins into the brain, which improves your mood. It also prevents obesity and other health problems, giving you less to be stressed about.

5. Organize your life

The organization offers a sense of control and peace of mind, and there’s a number of ways you can improve in this regard. If you’re the kind of person who’s always running around, it can help to make lists so that you remember everything. If you’re the kind of person who feels edgy in their own house, tidy up. Studies have shown the mere sight of clutter can put us on edge.

6. Eat healthily

It’s actually been proven that junk food can make us depressed (not to mention fat) so clean up your diet. Healthy foods like whole grains and protein can improve your mood and give you long-lasting energy to tackle everything that comes your way during the day. Foods that are especially effective for stress-busting include blueberries, salmon and almonds, according to scientists.

Also, put down that extra cup of coffee. While studies have shown that some coffee during the day can offer health benefits, too much caffeine will make you jittery and anxious, and eventually lead to a crash.

7. Limit Internet and cellphone use

Disconnect, disconnect, disconnect. Part of the problem with reducing stress in today’s world is that we are never truly able to shield ourselves from it. By turning away from the Internet and shutting off our cellphones, we can at least block some of the channels from which stress can reach us. Doing this also allows us to live in the moment and appreciate it.

8. B Vitamins

B vitamins are known to promote proper functioning of the brain and nervous system, as well as help induce relaxation and fight fatigue. In fact, indicators of B deficiency include irritability, depression, and apathy, so to stave off those symptoms, increase your intake of foods rich in B vitamins. B vitamins are typically found in the germ and bran of cereal grains, as well as beans, peas, nuts, liver, eggs and dairy products.

Aromatherapy

In some cases, inhaling certain scents have been shown to have immediate stress relief effects by raising mood, reducing anxiety and aiding focus and concentration. Experts say it’s because the smells can stimulate the limbic system, which in turn releases chemicals that affect the brain, promoting feelings of relaxation, calmness, love, and excitement. Popular oils for stress relief and mental fatigue include lavender, cypress, and rosemary

10. Sleep

Sleep is the most important natural stress reducer of them all. Too little sleep leaves us cranky, irritable and on edge. Too much sleep can leave us sluggish and depressed. Try to find the right balance that allows you to feel well-rested and ready for the day. Promote better sleep by establishing bedtime rituals that signal to your brain that it’s time to fall asleep, avoid exercise in the three hours before sleep or take a warm bath. Certain foods can also promote sleep, such as carbohydrates, bananas, peanuts, figs, dairy and – of course, a certain holiday favorite – turkey. These foods all contain tryptophan, a precursor for creating melatonin. However, avoid having a large meal close to bedtime, because it may result in indigestion, reflux or heartburn.

The 7 Chakras – A Beginners Guide To Your Energy System

The 7 Chakras are the energy centers in our body in which energy flows through.

Chakras connect your spiritual bodies to your physical one.

Sometimes chakras become blocked because of stress, emotional or physical problems. If the body’s ‘energy system’ cannot flow freely it is likely that problems will occur. The consequence of irregular energy flow may result in physical illness and discomfort or a sense of being mentally and emotionally out of balance.

This image shows where the main chakras in are located in your body. You can read a brief, yet the full explanation for each chakra below.

Chakra 7 – The Crown

Its color is violet and it is located at the top of your head. It is associated with the cerebral cortex, central nervous system, and the pituitary gland. It is concerned with information, understanding, acceptance, and bliss. It is said to be your own place of connection to God, the Chakra of Divine purpose and personal destiny. Blockage can manifest as psychological problems

Chakra 6 – The Third Eye (or Brow Chakra)

Its color is Indigo (a combination of red and blue). It is located at the center of your forehead at eye level or slightly above. This Chakra is used to question the spiritual nature of our life. It is the Chakra of question, perception and knowing. It is concerned with inner vision, intuition, and wisdom. Your dreams for this life and recollections of other lifetimes are held in this Chakra. A blockage may manifest as problems like lack of foresight, mental rigidity, ‘selective’ memory and depression.

Chakra 5. The Throat

Its color is blue or turquoise and it is located in the throat. It is the Chakra of communication, creativity, self-expression, and judgment. It is associated with your Neck, shoulders, arms, hands, thyroid and parathyroids glands. It is concerned with the senses of inner and outer hearing, the synthesizing of ideas, healing, transformation, and purification. Blockage can show up as creative blocks, dishonesty or general problems in communicating ones needs to others.

Chakra 4 – The Heart

Its color is green and it is located in your heart. It is the center of love, compassion, harmony, and peace. The Asians say that this is the house of the soul. This Chakra is Associate with your lungs, heart, arms hands and thymus gland. We fall in love with our heart Chakra, then that feeling of unconditional love moves to the emotional center commonly known as the solar plexus. After that, it moves into the sexual center or Base Chakra where strong feelings of attraction can be released. When these energies move into the Base Chakra we may have the desire to marry and settle down. Blockage can show itself as immune system, lung and heart problems, or manifest as inhumanity, lack of compassion or unprincipled behavior.

Chakra 3 – The Solar Plexus

Its color is yellow and it is located a few inches above the navel in the solar plexus area. This chakra is concerned with your digestive system, muscles, pancreas, and adrenals. It is the seat of your emotional life. Feelings of personal power, laughter, joy, and anger are associated with this center. Your sensitivity, ambition, and ability to achieve are stored here. A blockage may manifest as anger, frustration, lack of direction or a sense of victimization.

Chakra 2 – The Sacral (or Navel Chakra)

The 7 Chakras – A Beginners Guide To Your Energy System

What on Earth is a Chakra?

In many spiritual and healing disciplines, and in the world of complementary medicine the word Chakra pops up quite a bit. That’s fine if you know its meaning; not so great, and I must say pretty confusing if you don’t. Here’s our simple summary of the 7 Chakras that covers what a Chakra is, and what the Chakra System is all about.

The 7 Chakras are the energy centers in our body in which energy flows through.

The word ‘chakra’ is derived from the Sanskrit word meaning ‘wheel’. Literally translated from the Hindi it means ‘Wheel of spinning Energy’. A chakra is like a whirling, vortex-like, powerhouse of energy. Within our bodies, you have seven of these major energy centers and many more minor ones.

You can think of chakras as invisible, rechargeable batteries.

They are charged and recharged through contact with the stream of cosmic energy in the atmosphere in much the same way that your home is connected to a central power source within a city – the only difference is that this cosmic energy source is free.

Imagine this, a vertical power current rather like a fluorescent tube that runs up and down the spine, from the top of the head to the base of the spine. Think of this as your main source of energy. The seven major chakras are in the center of the body and are aligned with this vertical “power line. ”

Chakras connect your spiritual bodies to your physical one.

They regulate the flow of energy throughout the electrical network (meridians) that runs through the physical body. The body’s electrical system resembles the wiring in a house. It allows electrical current to be sent to every part, and it is ready for use when needed.

Blockage can manifest as psychological problems.

Chakra 6 – The Third Eye (or Brow Chakra)

6 ways to love yourself again.

Hello all ✨

Throughout life, we fall in and out of love with ourselves…a lot. Every time we have a negative thought about ourselves, we temporarily lose sight of our true loving nature. Even the ascended “spiritual masters” have had moments where they don’t like themselves; the duality of love and hate, light and dark, you and I. It’s a very persistent illusion that we all struggle to see past at times. In reality, we all come from Love, whatever and wherever that place may exist.

Because you originated from a place abound with love, that means it resides within you, as well. So, how can we uncover our true nature if we have been out of touch with it for so long?

Start with these six simple exercises daily if you want to experience greater self-love.

Here are 6 simple ways to love yourself again, starting now:

1. Celebrate yourself, as you are right now.

When you wake up each morning, thank yourself for everything that represents you. Thank your eyes for allowing you to see, your smile for making others smile, your hair for protecting your head from the sun, your body for giving you the ability to move, your mind for allowing you to think, your heart for letting you feel, etc.

You are literally a walking miracle, so don’t ever forget that.

You incarnated on this Earth at a very special time, when many of us got called upon to bring the planet back into alignment. Relish in every part of yourself as it is because no other being on this planet came here to do what you came here to do. No one else has the same genetic makeup or capabilities, so rejoice in all your unique splendor.

2. Give your inner child permission to come to life again.

Our inner child knows nothing of the pain we have wrapped ourselves in so tightly for much of our lives – it only knows love and compassion. He or she wants us to express ourselves fully, as we did as children. The inner child waits longingly for you to grow tired of living in the confines of a conditioned world, and wants you to enjoy life again. He or she can’t wait to see you let go and dance to the music inside your soul.

Ignite the spark within you and give up the desire to fit into any standard set by society; live up to your own standards instead. One of the best ways to love ourselves is to simply be ourselves.

3. Fully forgive yourself.

Any wrongdoings or mistakes are all a part of your journey – you don’t have to feel ashamed or guilty about anything you said or did in the past. Fully embrace the ups and downs of this existence, and accept that your imperfections make you perfect. You didn’t know in the past what you know now, so you had to experience certain tests and trials in order to grow as a person. The entirety of creation dwells within you, so remember this next time you go down the path of self-destructive thoughts.

You directly reflect the cosmos, and the totality of your experiences is necessary in order for the universe to know itself better. Everything that you go through only gets you closer to your highest self.

4. Practice loving-kindness meditation.

Before you can show love and kindness to anyone else, you need to give it a place to live within you. You need to let it permeate through every cell of your being, and become the qualities you seek outside of yourself. One of the best ways to cultivate love and kindness within is to meditate on these states of being. Imagine yourself as a being of light, who radiates with compassion and love for yourself and everyone on this Earth.

Take in this energy from the universe, and allow it to exist in your spiritual being. Do this for at least thirty minutes a day, and try not to think about anything else but love and kindness. By introducing new thought loops into your brain, you can retrain it to think more lovingly instead of fearfully.

5. You are already whole.

You don’t need anything outside yourself to become whole – you represent the entire universe, and you have everything you need already. You have love, compassion, strength, happiness, and all the things you seek outside yourself that you may have forgotten you already possess. You embody the consciousness that everything on this planet came from, and you make this universe come to life. Without you, the entire chemistry of the collective consciousness would change, because you make up an intrinsic part of it. You are the whole, and a part of the whole simultaneously.

Never doubt your completeness, and feel it in every bone in your body. Say “I am complete” to yourself every day, and you will slowly begin to remember this fundamental aspect of yourself.

6. Do what your heart wants.

Never deny what your soul longs for – after all, that call is the reason you’re here. Whatever you feel drawn to, go after it. If you want to travel the world, do it. If you want to start an organic garden, start it. Don’t wait until tomorrow or next month or next year; do what you want while you can. To love yourself, you must nourish your soul and listen to your innermost desires. You can’t love yourself if you reject what you came here to do. We all have different likes and dislikes, but these characteristics help us get in touch with our highest selves.

Follow your bliss; it will take you to a place you could have only imagined in your wildest dreams.

If you’re ready to love yourself again, make the declaration in the comments below – “I am LOVED”!

5 home remedies for a nasty cough.

Hello, all I have put together some home remedy for that nasty annoying cough;

1. Lemon and honey

If nighttime coughing fits are killing your sleep and disturbing others, let the lemon juice, and honey come to your rescue. This light drink can be taken just before bedtime to soothe your throat and keep the respiratory tract well hydrated throughout the night.

Mix in the juice of a small lemon and two tablespoons of honey in warm water and drink it. It helps lighten the mucus and makes it easy to bring it up. Make several cups of this drink and use it as and when you need it. Here are another 11 reasons why you should drink a glass of lemon and honey water every day.

2. Raw garlic

Keeping a clove of garlic in the mouth and crushing it occasionally to release a little bit of juice can help control coughing bouts. Crushed garlic added to food may help prevent secondary infections that usually follow a common cold and respiratory allergies.

3. Hot soup

Hot broth and soups are soothing for the throat and particularly useful in relieving a cough that accompanies cold and flu. Chicken soup is the most popular, but studies show that it’s the spicy ingredients in the soup such as onion, garlic, ginger, and black pepper that do the trick, so any soup containing these should work.

As you sip the hot soup, the steam containing the volatile active agents in these herbs enters your airways and loosens the mucus, while the warm liquid soothes your throat. Drinking lots of broth and soup also help increase your hydration levels.

4. Raisins

Raisins are nothing but dried grapes. The sugars and other beneficial compounds in grapes are concentrated in raisins, so they make a handy cough remedy that you can easily carry around when you’re under the weather.

Using raisins as a cough remedy is particularly attractive to children who turn their noses up at many concoctions they’re forced to drink. For young children, make a smooth sauce by cooking ground raisins in water with some additional sugar to get a thick consistency. A teaspoon as needed will help ease coughing.

5.  Homemade cough syrup

The cough syrups from the drug store are full of synthetic chemicals and often come with warnings of drowsiness or other potential side effects. But you can make a cough remedy with natural ingredients that are just as effective as, or even better than, the commercial version, and you know exactly what goes into it.

The potent ingredients of this 100% herbal syrup are thyme and peppermint that act as decongestants and licorice and mullein that bring in anti-inflammatory effect. Steep two teaspoons of each herb for thirty minutes in a cup of boiling water. Strain the infusion and mix in half cup of raw honey when cold. Fill a glass bottle and refrigerate. Take one teaspoon of this cough syrup whenever you feel a tickling in your throat.

Make time to visit your friend for chats and even a cuppa. Ask them how they are doing. If there is any talk of self-harming or suicide be sure to recommend them to see their health professional.

To be yourself.

Don’t let the expectations and opinions of other people affect your decisions. It’s your life, not theirs. Do what matters most to you; do what makes you feel alive and happy. Don’t let the expectations and ideas of others limit who you are. If you let others tell you who you are, you are living their reality — not yours. There is more to life than pleasing people. There is much more to life than following others’ prescribed path. There is so much more to life than what you experience right now. You need to decide who you are for yourself. Become a whole being.
